Nativity at the Baptist Church

Today we had a lovely time visiting the Baptist Church in Downton. We enjoyed meeting Farmer Ian with his real life Nativity animals, we even got to hold a chick! We then took part in making a Christmas decoration using lots of lovely craft materials, and finally Rev Phil told the children the Christmas story using special props from a very special Christmas tree, including a wonderful donkey puppet! We would like to thank Rev Katy, Rev Phil and all the helpers from the Baptist Church who organised such a lovely event for us, and thank you also to all who helped us walk over.
