Thinking about sending your child to Downton Primary School? This year, we will hold the following events to showcase our wonderful school.

Open Evening - Wednesday 4th of October 2023 at 6pm (presentation and group tours)

1:1 Tours with the Head Teacher or Deputy Head Teacher - Friday 6th of October 2023

1:1 Tours with the Head Teacher or Deputy Head Teacher - Thursday 2nd of November 2023

If these dates are not convenient for you, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you at a different time.

Parents of children who are about to start school for the first time must apply direct to Wiltshire Local Authority (LA), using the common admissions form you can apply online or you can contact the their Admissions Team for a form: 01225 713000

The deadline for the return of this form (either online www.wiltshire.gov.uk or hard copy) is 15th JANUARY and places will be confirmed by the LA.

We have a single admission date at the beginning of Term 1.

As a Church of England Voluntary Aided school, the school governors are the admissions authority.
