Term 1 - Parent Overview

This term, Kestrels have been busy with our learning on our return to school. In science, we have been measuring the temperature of water to see how long it takes to change temperature. We drew cave paintings in our English lessons to engage in our text, ‘Stone Age Boy’ whilst in PSHE we acted out scenarios to discuss consequences to our actions.

Take a look at what we have been doing to celebrate Black History Month. These pieces of art were inspired by the Gee’s Bend community in Alabama, a group of black women who knitted quilts to make money and stay warm during America in the 1960s.
