Outdoor learning

Today we spent the first part of our morning in the adventure garden playing, exploring and making pictures using natural resources. It was such a beautiful day and the children loved learning and being creative.outside.

This Friday we all went on a welly walk around the Memorial Gardens. The walk was linked to our learning about our senses. The children looked carefully at all the different things and listened to the sounds of crunchy leaves. We felt the wind on our faces and the different textures of the bark on the trees. At the end of the walk we collected some items to look at more closely back in the classroom.
