County Golf Championships

Earlier this year, a team of Year 4 and 5 pupils attended the local golf tournament at Salisbury Golf Course. The children played superbly, winning the entire tournament and securing a place at the county finals A group at Dauntsey's School.

Competing against 11 other teams in the A group finals, the children demonstrated excellent teamwork and determination, representing Downton Primary School impeccably. They proudly earned bronze medals, placing Downton Primary School third in the county. Additionally, four individual medals were awarded based on the Salisbury School Games Values, and out of more than 200 participants, two of our students, Jonah and Rosie, received these prestigious awards. We could not be prouder. Fantastic effort, children!
