The Perishing Poles

Already a month into the new year - doesn’t seem possible. To fit with the winter months, we are currently studying life in polar regions of our planet. We have been looking at the life of one of our country’s most famous explorers, Sir Ernest Shackleton. We have written biographies of his adventurous life, and extracts from those biographies are now adorning our main display board in the classroom. The children have completed some super writing, and I am very proud of their efforts.
